Teacher: Student Ratio:

Small class sizes affect a child’s learning experience, especially for our youngest students. They allow for more personalized care and instruction, help build stronger teacher-child relationships and enhance learning opportunities.

* Student Ratios are 2:10 in each toddler classroom, besting state licensing requirements.

Enrichment Classes:

Enrichment classes for toddlers are important because they support young children's cognitive and language development, promote physical development through activities like dancing and motor skills, and stimulate creativity and exploration by exposing toddlers to new activities and experiences. Your child will attend specialized, interactive Music and Motor Skills classes and also spend time tending to and playing in our outdoor garden classroom. Children visit the school library at least once a week to support early literacy skills.

Building Connections:

Cooperation, trust, and feeling safe strengthen a child's self-confidence and self-sufficiency, both of which are crucial during these first steps toward learning and independence. Using child-directed and center-based activities in each classroom, your child will learn through their senses, their environment, and interactions with their classmates and teachers. Multi-sensory learning and play opportunities encourage your child to develop more concrete ideas about his or her little corner of the world.

On Campus Events:

Your child will participate in a variety of exciting special events throughout the year including visits from the Fire Fighters, The Tooth Fairy, Western Week with Cowboy Kevin and our Fiesta celebration.

Toddler Program Curriculum:

Our Little CHUMS program employs the early-learning curriculum, Reach for the Stars. This approach emphasizes discovery methods of learning including hands-on music and art, socialization, language development, and spiritual growth all of which prepare each child to develop the skills necessary for success in preschool.
